Post by: ebfd11 on March 25, 2012, 12:25:49 PM
11th Annual Convoy for Wishes
When: Sunday May 6th 2012
Where: Battlefield Harley, Gettysburg Pa
http://www.truckconvoyforwishes.com/Home_Page.html

Now I have a challenge to any central Pa or Md player in Aces High.

I am challenging them to show up to Battlefield Harley in Gettysburg Pa, come look for me and my truck.

Look for this one....

If I can get 10 AH pilots to show up and introduce themselves to me, it will be verified you are an AH pilot, I will dye my hair pink and post the pics here.

Stipulations on pilots are as follows: (I gotta make it fair to me)

1. Must be registered on AH BBS prior to todays date. I will be able to verify your login and date at the event.
2. Must be able to have a sense of humor and ability to have fun.

And yes DKFF or Haxxor you can come too.

I will post pics of all the AH participants here that show up with you AH handle, so come one come all, let's see if you can make my hair pink.

LawnDart..

If one of the staffers from AH show up, it will be an instant pink hair day.

Well the convoy is tomorrow morning and here is the lead truck and trailer, albeit the only truck with a trailer.

For those who are wondering that trailer is the Memorial Trailer, all the gold ovals are names of local kids who were affiliated with the Make a Wish foundation who have passed away.

I don't care if you just show up to say "Hi" and add your name to the roster of AH'ers who wanna see my hair pink. Come down and have a blast and support the local truck drivers who are giving their time and having fun with the kids.

As I was told by one other driver who will be there and I quote him, "This is the only time where a bunch of grown men and women can get together and act like total retards and not be held accountable"

If you can make it I will take a picture of you in front of my truck and post it here for everyone to see.

VonMessa I appreciate you thinking of coming and  to you.

RedBull1 if you come I will personally make a donation in your name to the cause.

In Loving Memory of Jerry Gordon
The 10th Annual Truck Convoy for Wishes
is dedicated to the memory of Jerry and all he and his family has done for the children.

So come one come all to the bestest convoy of them all.

Well the convoy was today and I had a blast. 12 of our drivers started the convoy in the Lead Pack and made our way through small town to small town. All the towns we went through had noise ordinances and we as a convoy totally disregarded them. While we had a blast literally and figuratively, the kids were why we were there.

We had Many style trucks there..

Here I am waiting on my Make-A-Wish Child, the old codger is my dad. (I'm the handsome one on the left)

I will post more as I get to go through the pics. All in all we had a blast, and no my hair is still the same color.
