Why AMC shows this crap I have no idea. Soap Operas are for local channels during the day.

I've just about blasnked (removed from channel listing) out AMC as I did MTV years back when it changed from music TV to trash TV.

The wife and I watched the first season of Mad Men...  Neither of us watched after that.  The problem I have with the show is there really aren't any characters that you can like.  Nobody to root for...  Every single character is so messed up in some way or another, you want them all to fail.

I don't find that entertaining personally.

I love Mad Men, I think it's one of the smartest shows on TV.

Breaking Bad is the only show with a better script.

That is another useless show. WTH was AMC thinking?

Heard the overnight ratings. Mad Men pulled 3.1 Million viewers, up 20% from last year's premier. The season finale of Walking Dead pulled 11 Million viewers.  :huh

Only fitting, Walking Dead is definitely many times better then Mad Men.  Although they certainly are illustrating how advertising can magnify things.

More popular does not equate to "better".  It does equate to more revenue and renewal, tho.

I didn't watch season 2 of Walking Dead, but from what I saw of season one it's an entertaining show but isn't nearly as well written or produced as Mad Men.
