Title: lost trigger function in game

my trigger is not recognised in the map controllers box and does not work in game.  any suggestions?

game worked fine.
i ran game booster de-frag last night.
I lost trigger function.
Unistalled game.
Reinstalled game.
Still no trigger recognised in game

ps. trigger is working fine according to windows

When you go into Options->Controls->Map Controllers and pull the trigger, does it highlight it in the panel?  If so, what command is associated with it?

no, it does not highlight in the panel.

Playing around with it today.

1.) the trigger is recognised w/o game booster running.

2.) With game booster running, no trigger.

3.) Then back to w/o game booster, trigger works.

I think game booster may be a clue to the problem. Also, last night some other buttons were not being recognised, then suddenly, as if they were warmed up, they started working mid flight.  Something funny is going on with this game booster.  Im going to not run the game booster program anymore. hopefull no more problems.

Here is the thing.  If you press a button or pull a trigger, on the stick, and nothing happens in the "Map Controllers" panel, then the input from the stick is not getting to the game.

It really is that simple.

wow the plot thickens.

i was messing with my resolution. because i did not like the default 1680 x 1050.

and when i changed to 1280 x 1024 i lost trigger recognition. when i went back to 1680 x 1050 the trigger works.

now im lost as to the cause.

do you have any clue why aces high is not geting my trigger input under the 1280 x 1024 resolution?

It would be a function of your computer.  We have absolutely no control over that.  Input from devices is a pretty trivial task in DirectX.  All we can do is wait for input from Windows.

Sounds like something is filtering or interfering with the input.  Stick controller software installed?  That could cause it.

i uninstaled logitech profiler and downloaded game booster.

My trigger works in aces high with game booster running and in 1280 x 1024.
