Never heard anyone during my lifetime pick a Banjo better then Earl Scruggs.

He will be missed by many.

I will be breaking out Foggy Mountain Breakdown when I get home. I would have figured him to be much older though, seems like he has been doing this forever. Have to watch some Beverly Hillbillies tonight.......

If you like that style music, google 'sleepy man banjo boys'...kid on there is amazing.

I used to sit there for hours and watch him play on the net. I sure wish I'd seen him play live in my lifetime.

Sadly, these old boys are dying off and I'm afraid that this type of original American country music will be lost forever one day. They just don't make any more Bill Monroe's, Earl Scruggs or Stanley Brothers these days.
