Pierogies  were pretty popular  in 200 and  country the ,last night which brings us to  Pierogies Vs. Meat Pies Vs. Jamaican  Meat patties. I have to go with a spicy beef patty with some Ocho Rios on it.

Meat Pies don't even deserve to be in the same sentence as pierogies and jamaican meat patties.  Jamaican meat patties are one of my favorite things, but you just can't beat well done home made pierogies with loads of good onions, loads of butter, loads of sour cream, and loads of good bacon.

And a drano aperitif to clean out your arteries afterward. :D

Empanadas, Chilean Style.  Baked in an oven, filled with meat of unknown origin.  Sertved with nice glass of red Casillero del Diablo.
