is that game up yet?

War Thunder: World of planes.
big difference between that and world of warplanes.

Meh.. I've played world of tanks and enjoy the ground game for what it is. I can't fathom how a tech tree oriented game would work airplanewise.
Yes... I have fun flying 40ENY planes in the MA, but that's because I know a pony is a pony and it's all about the pilot. I'd hate to have to try and figure out if the thing has RATO's 20MM cannons and sidewinders before I engage the damn thing.
...maybe it's just me.

oh yeah i love games like that. yesterday my t29 which has a gun that can penetrate 198mm of armor bounced 3 shots on the m18. while the m18 killed me with 3 front shots. of course the m18 just got released a few days ago so it is indestructible just like the french line was when it was released a couple of weeks ago. now the french tanks are back to normal so they can be killed.
there's "free games" and then there's ah. I play world of tanks but it's not even close to what ah is when it comes to "reality".

Wow, I may be a supreme dick at times, but I would never subtly advertise for a competing game in my melodramatic "I quit" thread.
Good riddance to you and those like you.

Not once did I ever say where I was headed. I wouldn't call you a supreme dick. There's better names for those like you sir. :)

You must have really laid the pwnage on ole Melvin in the past. He seems bitter :lol

Not once did I ever say where I was headed.
Here, let me help you out with that.
sub·tle (stl)
adj. sub·tler, sub·tlest
1.
a. So slight as to be difficult to detect or describe; elusive: a subtle smile.
b. Difficult to understand; abstruse: an argument whose subtle point was lost on her opponent.
2. Able to make fine distinctions: a subtle mind.
3.
a. Characterized by skill or ingenuity; clever.
b. Crafty or sly; devious.
c. Operating in a hidden, usually injurious way; insidious: a subtle poison.
[Middle English sotil, from Old French, from Latin subtlis; see teks- in Indo-European roots.]
subtle·ness n.
subtly adv.
Of course, in your squaddie's "I quit" thread you stated, "We are at the other game". So don't play coy with us, it's rather clear.

Meh, not really. I learned quickly to simply avoid 2-3 P-51's flying at 24k. Other than dhyran, Tallboy and MEF4UD (all top notch gents) I really haven't had much contact with the LD.

Why is it any of our business why he is leaving. I for one like it when someone announces that they are leaving whether it is permanent or temporarily. Sometimes I am curious when players just drop off the grid. I didn't see anything subtle about his post. He just said he was leaving to do other things. That sounds pretty clear to me. Why make such a big deal out of it?
My opinion,
Fred

Why make such a big deal out of it?
Why do people insist on making a big deal out of their leaving?
Just go. We are all replaceable.
Why is it any of our business why he is leaving.
It's not. Attention boy made it our business.
I didn't see anything subtle about his post.
Re-read the thread. Then go and read his squaddies sorrowful "I quit" thread.
Just a couple of attention mongers trying to drag some along.

1. I do not see where he made such a big deal out of it. I do see where you have.
2. I never read anything about anyone being replaceable or not.
3. The only attention I see in this thread, is what you are bringing to it. It would have died a couple of pages ago.
4. Why would I read someone else's thread? I read what this OP posted. His post seems pretty clear to me.
Since you seem to care what everyone else is doing, I am now taking my wife to dinner. :D
My Opinion,
Fred

My point has been completely lost on you.
Have a nice dinner. :)
