SO its hard enough to get people to stay in the day and this system just makes people log. Look at the difference in numbers there totally out of line, not to mention it does nothing for side balance. Should 6 more players in day put ENY this high? Yet A higher mismatch at night does nothing.......its broke HT you knew it from the start ,yet you cant admit your wrong on this? O well its my wish that someone fixes this one day. (edit) And while were at it GVs should not count against aircraft and vice versa.

I am not sure if ENY limits are based off of in flight or total numbers, but in both cases the ratio is more lopsided in the screenshot on the right than it is in the shot on the left:
95 in 68.84% of 138. 130 is 78.31% of 166.
21 is 52.25% of 40. 31 is 55.36% of 56.
Based on that, ENY is working as intended. You may want it to kick in sooner, but there is nothing inconsistent shown in those shots.

Should [having almost twice the number of players as the Rooks] put ENY this high?
yes. yes it should.

Can someone explain, or direct me to, a good explanation on ENY/OBJ and what it really means and affects?

ENY encourages folks to change sides by removing the access to prefered planes from stronger side. Also it balances the game by creating conditions where more numbers can be outgunned by superior planes.
I think it ought to be based off of #s in flight not total......
