No chin gun, among other things, which would be accurate for early war special events.
+1

Sorry what is it? B-17A, B17B... ect. Asking for some more info. Why do we need HTC to spend the time makeing a new B-17.
-
B-17F. Only real difference is the lack of a chin turret on the F. It climbs slightly better than the G and is very slightly faster.
-
Tail gun is different too if I remember correctly. It's not the Cheyenne turret the G has.
+1 to the B-17F. :aok

Not all of the Gs had the Cheyenne.

Not all of the Gs had the Cheyenne.
But ours does.

While they are at it, adding in the B24D would be a dream come true for me! Then, I could commission to have my grandfather's bomber skin done. But alas, no D model skins on the current J model B24. :frown:

It is the B17-F, and yes, the purpose of which is to fill out the historical set a bit more. I don't care about bigger, faster, better, or more guns really. It's just a heavily used, tough plane. :)
<EDIT> also the cheek gun glass would have to be tweaked to go flush with the fuselage instead of the protruded version the "G" has.

By far the prettiest B-17 version. +1 :aok
quick question. where the waist gunner possitions staggered on the F model like they are on the G?

No. They weren't staggered on early Gs either.
