... being taken appart in a barn right next to your house, you'd never know it's so rural in Twin Balls. I ll keep an eye out in Ida, you never know if the crook is dumb enough to cruise main street with it.

I don't think the 85 Ram is real high on the list of desirable vehicles for the chop shop.  Hopefully some one just took her for a joy ride and they find it sitting somewhere.

Here in SoCal, 20+ yo vehicles, especialy one as likely still useful as yours, are what vehiles get stolen from lots and infront of people's houses something like ~9 out of 10 times.

Two MAJOR reasons why:
1:  Some older import cars are worth a fortune on the used parts market.
2:  No LoJack, No Problem.

I would advise people, especialy living near populated areas, who have a ~20+ yo car that they plan and would really like to see stay around another 20, invest in a basic LoJack.  Best chance with these aplications that the devices works too, as thieves are not expecting your 25-yo pickup to have one hidden somewhere on it.

Edit:  Real sorry - nice looking truck though, but it's got that unique door decal so good idea exposing the pictures to as many people.

Put up some posters around town and ask them to return it with a new transmission.

Indeed, since they liter the junkyard too, but they do great farm trucks ... and Idaho is full of dem farms.
