Title: Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli do it again.
Post by: Pigslilspaz on April 11, 2012, 01:29:51 AM
Saw The Secret World of Arrietty (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrietty) today, and still find it hard to not love Miyazaki's animation and writing. The director is the same one who did Spirited Away and the screenplay is based off of the 1950's book The Borrowers. Was my first time seeing a Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli film at the theaters and my only complaint was that my best friend and I weren't the only ones there.

Also, general discussion on Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli.

I'll have to look out for that one, thanks, might also be time to drag Nausica out and rewatch :)

I'm pretty sure a certain squad would love Porco Rosso (http://geektyrant.com/storage/post-images/porcorosso5.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1282513889911)
