Title: ATI 5570 driver help

Looking for advice on the best driver to be using with this card for AH. Just trying to squeeze as much out of it as I can until i can put a new system together.

I'm using the latest driver 12.3. Everything works fine.

I am too, but Skuzzy has chimed in on occasion and recommended using older versions for better performance.

Clarification.  I have said and continue to warn about using the latest drivers for older video cards.  ATI and NVidia optimize drivers for the latest generation of cards and on occasion (not always) they sacrifice older card stability and/or performance to do so.

Typically (not always,..but mostly true), the best video card driver for a previous generation card is the last driver the manufacturer releases before the next generation of hardware is released.

that's the answer I was hoping for. Now, to find out what version that was.
