Not sure if its possible but is there a way to change the sound of the vox comms to sound more "authentic"? I know some players vox just have that certain something that sounds so awesome! and was wondering if some kind of static sound or muffling can be added to vox comms.
ready for the flak :noid

I don't see what's wrong with crystal clear and no static

For some reason some people sound like Chuck Yeager when on a flight sim. Dat subconscious southern drawl.
-
I'd like it to sound like the old radio comms, like you hear in old movies and such.
-
I'd like everyone to sound like robots... :pray

Take your headset off, place it on the floor and stomp up and down on it 6 or 7 times. That should get you the muffling and static sounds your looking for. :aok

I would like to sound like Terry Thomas :)
Hurrah!

I have voice on headphones and everything else on external speakers
Works well
You can always go "skshshshsh repeat please over "
I do :devil

I want everybody to sound like James Earl Jones.
Wiley.

Really, talk on TS and on VOX... It sounds good enough to be realistic and yet not realistic in the shape of being unreadable half the time like real radio comms.
-
All i wanted to know was if there were any settings that could change the sound of the comms. Didnt inted on being flamed, just wanted some help please.

I'm sorry Brownien. I was just messing with you trying to be funny. Please don't take what I say personal because it's not meant that way.
To answer your question,...no there are no settings in the game to give you the sound effects you desire. :salute

Try varying cotton balls in your ears.

No harm done Uptown! :aok And thanks all!

depending on your sound card, some of them come with the ability to add effects. You might b able to tweak it through there.
