Title: Friendly ack?

Twice now while chasing bombers over friendly carrier group I have been hit by puffy ack.  The first time I was in a spitfire 14 chasing mosquito bombers, result was engine out damage.  The second time was in tempest after lancaster's, puffy ack was hitting all around and the result was a pilot wound.  I was approximately 1 1/2 K to the rear and low six.  What gives? :noid

This is not a bug. 'Friendly' AI ack will never target you (unlike real ack in WWII, which frequently shot first and asked questions later... if at all), but if you get in the way...  :uhoh

I have been hit by field ack on unlucky occasions.  Shiz happens.

I remember my Grandfather telling me about how he had to learn to identify all the enemy and friendly planes by a silhouette picture.  Not contradicting you, just a fun fact.
