My Wife went and bought a new keyboard (Logitech K120).
It types fine, but seems to have trouble in-game.
I tried to up a tank this morning. It immediately started rolling after spawn in, but the 'W' key didn't appear to work as it wouldn't shift out of first gear.
I then tried to engage auto-pilot in an aircraft. It engaged just fine, but then kicked off after a second or two. It's as if the keyboard is giving random commands within the game.
Has anybody else come across such a thing?
I checked key mapping and nothing has changed.
What gives?

Or it could be that your stick is out of calibration. If your stick is spiking and giving inputs it WILL stop your GV from shifting as well as knocking the auto pilot off.
Check your stick calibration.

It could be that your new keyboard draws more power from the USB than your previous one Bill. Sometimes this causes other peripherals to lose calibration. I would recommend a powered USB hub. I use one on my laptop and I have four USB devices for AH and never have to re-calibrate. If you still have your old keyboard, do a comparison test, start with a full re-calibration :old:

is it a wireless one?
I threw mine out of the window when it started typing gibberish off its own back.

Thank you for the responses Gents.
I re-calibrated my joystick and everything is working fine now.
