I've been using my laptop a lot recently and it has a built in Wifi card. It works great on any network but my home network. My brothers laptop work great on my home network, as does my phone. But for some reason my laptop makes dailup look blazing fast here at the house. I've installed and ran a program called TCPOptimizer and I can't tell that it made anything better. Does anyone know anything to make the internet run faster on my home network?

Just a wild guess based on personal experience: There's been a bunch of WiFi protocol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11#Protocols) renewals since the release of 802.11 in 1997. Setting the specifications and standards for a new and faster protocol can take several years. In the meantime the device manufacturers release builds that they would like to meet the new protocol, but they don't always guess right.
Now one of your wireless devices might be one of these non-standard versions (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/802.11_non-standard_equipment).

Call your ISP tech support team, describe the network and your card and ask if they help you speed things up.

Are you running wireless N at home? Any other bands? Mixed mode?
What OS are you running on your laptop?
What wireless card does your laptop have installed?
