Title: Not serious
Post by: zack1234 on May 01, 2012, 09:44:21 AM
When my pc comes on after sleep mode the main fan is louder before it was put to sleep :(

If i restart the pc it is quiet again

Its a AMD quad core aspire predator pc, as i have stated in topic its not serious but a little strange :)

Anyone know why it does this, its probly obvious to everyone but not me :salute

Windows' "hibernate" and "standby" modes do all kinds of funky stuff.  I never use them.

Sounds like maybe your setting that varies the fan speed (based on temperature?) is not getting stored on disk in the "standby" status file?  Better to be too noisy than too hot, right?
