Title: Any recent IFR rated pilots?
Post by: jollyFE on May 02, 2012, 11:37:39 AM: I should be taking the FAA IFR written test in the next few weeks...anyone got any advice?

Post by: B4Buster on May 02, 2012, 12:10:09 PM: I'm not a recent IFR rated pilot, but I would suggest hitting up exams4pilots.com and take practice tests. You can select certain subjects to focus on where you feel you are weakest as far as the knowledge test goes.

On the written, there are a lot of new GPS related questions pertaining to LNAV, LNAV+V and LPV approaches. Know them.

7 months ago. The IR written stinks, and I took it before they updated the questions. My input wouldn't do you much good, for that reason.
