So I have this model for several years and was wondering if anyone could ID it as an actual skin and the outfit it was with. I would love to be able to fly my own model plane. It seems awful busy with stickers so im sceptical if it ever existed.

Well it has the green heart of JG54 on it and the paint job is similar to what I have seen on fw190s flown by JG54, but I don't ever recall seeing that kind of winter camo on an Emil. :headscratch:
-
Maybe a couple on 109Fs and later, but definitely not historic for an emil, not in that configuration. There were winter camo schemes, but not like that. Not til later, after the Emil.
P.S. Insert some Decker/Bladerunner reference here.....

The real one was actually a F-4, not a Emil like in the pictures...

That is sweet!!! :O

I've been thinking about skinning that one. But I've got a bunch of F-4s in various states of completeness at the moment.

Thats awesome. I knew this would be the place to ask.Again, I would love to see it as an option but understand theres a pecking order. Consider it for the wish list.

Just to give you an idea of my criteria for skinning a plane.
1. Visually appealing (which this plane is)
2. Climate specific paint scheme differing from what is already available (we already have a partial winter scheme, it is also of JG 54)
3. Under represented theater of operation (This one was used on the eastern front, as were a large majority of the F-4s in game)
4. Squad "Coolness" factor. (JG 54 has it in spades, especially 9 staffel)
5. Notoriety of the pilot (pilot unknown for this plane)
That's not to say exceptions can't or won't be made. :devil
