I haven't done anything web related in terms of website construction in a LONG time, like 13 years, and I'm wondering what is the best way to create a simple website nowadays.
My old man has a home business selling electric carts for disabled people, and I want to build him an information/contact website. It doesn't need any eCommerce or anything fancy.
I need advice/help on what the best software/hosting way to go is. I do have a bit of experience as I said, but it was long long ago, in a galaxy very far away.

Many hosting sites also included freeware to get a decent site built, up and running. Consider that when your shopping for hosting. Prices are a lot cheaper now than back in the day.

I use hostgator. They have web templates etc and it's only like $9 a month

This is the one I use for business. You can get one for free or pay a nominal fee for a domain name
