he also became friends with him after the war, as well as cleared Hub Zemke from a 109

 I especially liked Robert "Shorty" Rankin's  tales of being in the 61FS  56FG...

 Ah yes..4prop..you wicked, wicked purveyor of flying video links! Just spent 6(SIX) hours(HOURS!) watchin watermelon from DC-7 thru Super Chb, WW2 flers interviews and DC-3 stuff.... may you never pass an air field w/o having to stop... :)

That was wonderful. What an adventure, drafted and supposedly in for only a year... 32 years later he retires.

I cant help it even without being cursed. We were on vacation in Orlando driving to Disney, Oh hello an airport we'll just stop in see if anything interesting is out.  ;)
