Title: Failure with buildter.exe

Two of us were unable to upload new terrains to the server tonight using the buildter.exe utility.

The message was "Invalid login/password"

Thanks in advance for looking into it.


Say, what is expected to be in the Description field? Is this field for the htc terrain downloads page?

Just uploaded a terrain with the latest version of the TE 2276 with no problems..

I am thinking this might have to do with the name of the terrain.  It is worth noting that the terrain name can only be comprised of alpha-numeric characters.  No spaces, no '_', no '-' and so on.

All is good now.

So, a minimum of 5 characters, and no _ or - characters. Edit:  All lower case characters. Please let us know it that's not right.

We had settled on an ava_ prefix to distinguish the smaller AvA terrains from their larger SEA brothers but clearly that's not an option.

Minimum of 5 characters no more that 8 characters.
All lower case

a thru z and 0 thru 9

No other characters

Field 1 must be Zone 1
Field 2 must be Zone 2
Field 3 must be Zone 3

CV's must have way points.

Don't rotate the manned guns.
Will add to the list as I remember more.  Pain meds kicking in so heads kinda fuzzy.
