Anyone who has been playing 10 years or longer should get half price discount. Agree or disagree?

If $15 breaks the bank, you need to re-examine your expenses.
Disagree, if anything they need to make newer subscribers want to stay longer.

I have been here over ten years. I have thousands of perks that I will never use. I have made training videos, and of course my cartoons. I hope.to one day add a skin or two, or maybe even a map if I can find the time.
The only thing I expect from HTC for all of this is that the servers are up and running when I get the time to fly.

What I "think" I would like would be to let veteran pilots have a double vote the next time a "plane" poll is run.
And I agree with Fugitive on the fact that I have tons of perks I will never use. So a perk bonus for years of service wouldn't do much for me. Anyone wanna buy 10,000 fighter perks?

I disagree, and I am one of the guys who would technically benefit from it. $14.95/month is not that much and I'd like HTC to stick around.

That sounds good, an extra vote when it comes to plane polling would be a great idea.
I'll buy your 10k perks if you buy mine, last time I looked it was almost at 70k

I say run the AH commercial in other country's, in FA we has alot of Japanese players in the am, and I'm sure that would help.

That is pretty much all I do besides flying events and FSO and to be honest I spend more on coffee in a week than I do paying for AH.
Also I think that using a reduced price to motivate someone to help out might lead to all sorts of problems.
If you enjoy the game then money isnt a motivating factor.

I think it is time to raise the price . 5 more bucks a month . Tweak a few things that need tweaking . With what prices have done in the year I have been gone it's time .

Seano sortie time from Tour 147 = 59 hours
14.95/59 hours = 25 cents an hour.
There is almost nothing on the planet that can provide this much fun for less that 25 cents/hour. I would argue that the fun per dollar per hour value of AH can't be topped. In fact it has saved me a fortune. My other hobbies include:
Golf ($10.00/hour)
Drinking ($15.00/hour)
Eating ($5.00-$100/hour)
TV ($2.00/hour)
Driving the 5.0 ($12.00/hour)
Movies ($12.00/hour)
The 40 hours a month a Play AH has the potential to replace 40 hours of doing these other things which could cost as much as $500.00 a month.
On average AH has cut my recreational spending by $200.00/month. :O
I should send HTC a bonus. :aok

bc21 - THANK YOU for your service :salute. If any veterans should get discounts it should be our countries armed forces members both past and present - don't get me wrong I would like a discount who wouldn't - but let's give it to our fighting men and women first.

In my opinion, the only discount that really makes sense to me is for Military personnel past and present.
However, the increased vote power for players around for longer is a great idea too.

Why not discount perk costs of certain vehicles and aircraft to veteran Players? It potentially makes certain aircraft and vehicles "free" such as the Tiger 1 and 2, along with the Me234 and Me 262, but after 10 years I think that its plenty enough loyalty to reward those players.
Scale perk costs according to Years of Service: 1 year: .75, 5 years: .5, 10 years: .25 So a Me 262 at 100 perk points to fly would cost a "veteran" player 75 points at year 1, 50 points at year 5, and 25 points at year 10.
You could even award a higher perk award to veteran players than a relative newbie along the same scale 1 year: x1, 5years: x2 10+: x5. I was thinking this would initially unbalance the game, but when the game has a list of dedicated players then the trade off its worth it because fewer people will actually be able to use those craft routinely (and at a lower cost) than racking up point per kill norms. So it would keep the balance in the end I think.
Personally as Veteran of two tours in Iraq (and 20 years total time in Service[ US Army/ US Army National Guard)- getting to play with a great group of folks here on Aces is all the reward I need. I have played the game off and on since it was shown on the History Channel and Discovery in 2000, and I keep coming back because of its appeal as a game and for the community- which personally I feel is a lot better than say Ultima, World of Warcraft, Champions on Line, City of Heroes, and Guild Wars or Even Quake and Quake Wars... but thats just me.
