I know the CM's place the squads where the squads request for the most part.
I know its not always avoidable but the size and number of squads on each side also has an effect on the game play. In this set up the ALLIES have 21 squads to coordinate with and get all working together where as the AXIS only has 16 squads.
Also there is an effect in the numbers. although 4 small squads might equal 1 larger squad they don't fight the same. And the 1 large squad has a significant advantage over the 4 smaller squads even if they have coordinated and are fighting together in the same spot.
Not complaining just saying that size and shape will effect the battles to come even know the numbers are the same on paper.

So youre saying Axis has an advantage? It is Eastern Front ya know...

Interesting reply Viper61 and I do agree to a certain extent. Outside of splitting the squads evenly by size and most likely forcing people to fly what they did not choose or want the options are kind of limited.
Any ideas?

Both sides has the same min of 141 and the max for allied is 201 and axis is 195. What it comes down to is how many show up each night. If one side has a low turnout, then they might have a beating heading thier way.
