Title: Hunting for a throttle

looking for a quad set throttle,something along the lines of how a B17 is set up

any suggestions out there??

I think you should build one yourself, all true Jedi build their own controllers.

The electrical part is trivial, you can buy all that quite cheaply, especially if you want 4 separate throttle controls. You've given me a great idea though, back in three months...

Raid an army surplus site, buy a genuine throttle body from a decommissioned fighter :)

I'm not positive but I think you can. I know a few guys that have the 38s engines split to two controls.

Saitek make a 3 axis controller that can be used for throttles,it also has 3 toggle switches that you can map to engines so you can select which engine you want to control.

  Would be eazy enough to map 2 switches and 2 of the analogs to control all 4 engines. This leaves you another switch and analog t program! oh and the switches can be mapped to 2 funtions.

  I have 1 and it's never caused me any problems,I do use a powered hub for all my controls.
