When you have a widescreen setup and you set the FOV to automatic in the AH graphics settings, this prevents cropping the top/bottom of the screen.
However the bombsight doesn't work this way. You lose about 50% of your top and bottom, and see all the world left to right. Can't see a damn where you're going or what you're lining up on, but you can see all you want left or right. We need some sort of auto FOV for the bomb sight to match the general view settings in AH.
It's the first time I've really got in the bomb sight since I started running at 3860x1024 resolution, and I find it's very restrictive in bombing calibration and pre-drop line-up.

I know nothing of this, but is it in all your bombsight views on most/all ac, or only on particular ac?

that's how it is when you play with 3 screens. same thing happens to me. I wish the view was smaller so you can see the full circle.

I almost wish they'd make it take up the center screen and leave the "wings" blacked out. Not sure what kind of tricky FOV settings they'd need to do for that, though.
