Who have served our country...
Today we honor those who servered as well as gave their lives to defend the United States.
To all that have served are serving and to those who paid the ultimate price. I thank you for your service to our country.
I read this this morning and feel it sums it up...
"Today, Memorial Day, we come together as Americans to let these families and veterans know that they are not alone. We give thanks for those who sacrificed everything so that we could be free. Let us commit ourselves to upholding the ideals for which so many patriots have fought and died."

My one comment is that today is not Veteran's Day. Today is to remember those who gave all and never came home. I do not think we should change the purpose and intent of Memorial Day.
My thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could be free.
