:lol
It's an old glitch. At the moment you log in you might occasionally read one single line of country chat from country 1, which happens to be Bishops. Happend to me earlier today too. :)

:rofl seems awful coincidental

Had it happen a few times.

TB,
Alibaba doesn't seem that type to me. Respectfully, I believe Lusche's explanation. Actually, unless you have flown with that group, it may surprise you to know that they are mostly a large group of regular folks like many of you that have many different interests, but work together as a squad.
So, I am not saying that none of them could be irritating or :devil spies :uhoh but I doubt if the majority of that group would even consider the need for such. Now hiding a CV inside of the map logo, you might have a different answer :D
-
Ive had it happen many times to me, even when I used to be a vTard, I once got a CV location logging in and went n sunk it, was called a spy by a few :rofl

Redbull was a vtard :rofl :bolt:

Has never happened to me. But then again, I never logon, check the text buffer, then compare it to the roster to see who is on what side. Silly me I guess.
:noid :noid :noid

I don't see what y'all are talking about.
-
both bish and rook chat show as green in the radio bar

if you look at the roster, you see that Twin is rook, and valibaba is bish, but he is typing in green on the rook country channel.
-
It happens when you first log in, few weeks ago I was apparently talking and someone from the Bishops thought I jumped to Bish when in fact he logged in I was still a Knight.
/was joking around asking for a gunner

I used to be a vTard
Once on the short bus, forever on the short bus.

I just logged in to LW, as a Rook:

As you can see by the host message, the intitalisation was not fully complete when the chat system was activated, so that I was able to read two messages from Bish country channel before the program noticed that I am not in country 1.
I recall that a few years ago, I even 'intercepted' a much more detailed call for a mission with target info that way. :devil

So how long until we have guys logging in and out just to catch a glimpse of enemy chatter?
Might be something worth HTC investigating a fix for.

Horribly ineffective. You can gain 100 times more valuable information by juts keeping attention to the map. :old:

I'm sure you're right. I'm just saying that in this day and age it seems like some folks will go to extreme measures to gain an advantage (no matter how slight).

its easier for one member of a squad to switch sides, just like vLance today on rooks while the rest of his squad was bish.

Remember back in AH1 when you first logged in sometimes it would
put you at an enemy base in enemy's tower till everything fully loaded.
 Oz

In warbirds 2.77, you could see enemy dar for a split second when you entered the arena.
They added server messages stating your logging in and leaving the arena and, for the first few weeks, you would see guys logging in and leaving over and over to find enemy cv........and they were given grief.
