Saw that on my local radio stations face book page, wtf...
-
As a lover of anything aviation related...that's a bit strange to me.
-
:huh That would freak me the hell out if I saw it flying by.
...No disrespect intended, but could someone please explain why people stuff their pets after they die? I've always found that to be very odd. It just seems somehow... disrespectful. I can't really articulate it better than that.
Wiley.

Any idea how pissed off my German Shepherd would be to see this thing fly overhead? Hell has no fury what this dog would do to a helicopter cat...

Heh, I think my German Shepherd would just spawn a Wirbelwind. :D

The laughter that came out of my office today when I saw the pics was nothing short of epic. A coworker stuck his head in the door wondering if I had finally lost it. I was in tears.

Now they just need another rotary cat and they can have a dogfight.
Here's the kicker - the cats name is Orville :rofl :rofl :rofl

Well, when our old Vizsla, Amber, died, I would always turn to the couch where she usually sat to say good night to her. But then I would realize she wasn't there, and wouldn't be there ever again. That was the worst part about her dying.
Now this is just a guess, but I would venture to say that people stuff their pets so they can pretend, to some extent, that their pet isn't really dead. For all the work we've done in science and philosophy, humans aren't very rational creatures when you get right down to it. Infact, we're probably some of the least rational animals on the planet.
But yes, I would agree that the cat-copter is just a bit disrespectful. Turning your beloved pet into a toy..... thats just too far.

I think it is a tribute, although a strange and misguided one.
We are all a bit strange, though.

True that, we all thing differently, this man probably thinks what he's doing was what his cat would have wanted, even though someone else might have just put it in the ground and mourned for a few days, or maybe it was a bad cat and this was revenge :lol

AWMac would be proud!

Cats always land on their feet right?
Toast always lands Butter side down when dropped.
If you Butter a Cat's back????????????
:bolt: Oz
-
You wasted good butter.
The cat would naturally try to lick it off, resulting in a flat spin.
Autopilot would take over and the cat would land on it's feet.

The mouse nation is not preparing anti aircraft weapons to combat this new threat of feline air assault. MY GOD its an arms race in the animal kingdom...................... .......
