Here's a picture I took with my cell phone. I'm focusing the image through binoculars onto a sheet of paper. Binoculars in one hand, cell phone in the other.  :D

  Nice shot! projection makes it looks like an egg. Just be careful don't look at sun through lenses, camera or binoculars. Venus is about same size like our planet;

..and this image was taken in last hour ; we are such a little ants living on a small piece of rock ;

Yeah, the hazards of leaning the paper on the steps and juggling the binoculars and camera freehand. Tough to get everything perpendicular for perfect circles. But, as they say, "close enough for gov't work". At least you can see what you're supposed to be able to see.  :D

I did that without the camera, felt real smart.  Got two passerbyes to say "wow".

The link i posted is direct refreshing, (i don't know how to delete it), was initialy showing showing the Venus transit;
I don't know if this images are only UV or a combination;  the image was taken by NASA SDO probe from geostationary orbit , has instruments/telescopes onboard in white, ultraviolet and extreme UV with diferent filters. They posted this video of the Venus transit last evening;
