Title: Brighten Up The Counter on The Zero's

It may just be my eyballs, but it's sure hard to see how many shots are left.  Counter's too dim.

I guess I just don't see it that way, but hey brighting them up couldn't hurt.  :cheers:

Yeah, I'll admit it can be a pain to read the counter at times, especially in the A6M3.  Please do add more light to the numbers. :aok

P-40 remodel ammo counters are DARK GREY.... wtf?

Seriously HTC, please make them white like ALL OTHER PLANES! It's hard to read. Especially when you make them smaller and smaller, and hide them behind cockpit components (p38s, some 109s).

It's really hard when you make them 1/4 the size they used to be, or even nearly off the bottom of the screen (P47s). Especially when larger resolutions make them broken lines of single pixels. FSAA doesn't seem to work with them all the time (same with insturment needles sometimes?) and they get blocky and hard to read unless you hit F8, point it at the readout, and zoom in.

I really hate the way these are heading on the new remodels. Too much obfuscation.



P.S. The line of sight out of the P-40s is still way off. You depict it with a major nose-up angle so the scoop blocks the view and the gunsight is squashed flat against the cowling -- the nose angled down so the scoop was not in the way and the gunsight was halfway up the forward glass and had a much clearer forward view for setting up shots.

I thought something was with with the P40, other day flew a P40C and couldn't even find the gun counter, let alone read it.

Full Sunny day its no problem, anytime it gets dark you cannot read it period.
