Anyone who ever played Panzer General or is a fan of turn based games, Panzer Corps is on sale from Matrix Games - I generally pick up even older games if they come on sale, but this I couldn't pass up.
You have thousands of units available in game, certain mods extend that list of goodies - I currently am playing the "Long haul" mod with gives 72 scenarios (its for a tournament).
Panzer General was easy, Panzer Corps has the same 4 levels of difficulty, try playing Field marshal :)
Basically its a re-done version of PG, with new graphics and far more mods available and it runs under Windows 7, here's some screen shots:

I recall getting the Mossie F.Mk IIs in Allied General while doing the British North Africa campaign and suddenly the control of the air, which the Bf109Fs had been denying me, was mine for the taking as based on the game's rating system my Mossies utterly annihilated any aircraft unit they engaged. I thought it was funny, if inaccurate, at the time.

Good heavens... that last picture is an entire Army's worth of vehicles :O

Every aircraft has its limitations and what not, for example its based on a very basic math formula, experience is a major factor for example early in the crete campaign mossy's gave me a dire headache, with FW190a's i simply destroy them.
The mossy is kind of a jack of all trades attack aircraft, fast and well gunned, simply they are tough to shoot down, however that and the spitfire are the only keys the allied (british) player has - its tanks are useless, where Germans have tigers and Panthers that can take on a half dozen british armor units and win easily.
