Title: ENY Disabled?
Post by: FXDS99 on June 11, 2012, 12:11:41 AM
Has ENY been disabled or is there a new calculation I missed?  At 10:10 pm on Sunday, 10 June, there were 129 Bishops, 174 Knights, and 162 Rooks logged in.  91 Bishops, 129 Knights, and 118 Rooks were flying.  However, the ENY was 0 for all three groups.  I remember ENY kicking in for much less than this size disparity in numbers.  Thanks!

It isn't disabled, just neutered almost to the point of ineffectiveness.  It requires a huge numbers imbalance to kick in because half the people in the game would probably quit if they couldn't fly the P-51D.

Rgr that -- at least I'm not going crazy.   :x  Thanks for the info.  Is the threshold listed anywhere?  Would be good to know.

easy..

465 players (BTW, total players, "in flight" is meaningless)

bish 129/465= 27.7%
knit  174/465= 37.4%
rook 162/465= 34.8%

you need at least 10% advantage.. i.e knits eny limiting wont kick in until they have 37.7%
