Title: Looking for realistic American Flying squad
Post by: Jethro_Bodine on June 11, 2012, 04:22:53 PM: I'm looking for a realistic Squad that mainly fly's american aircraft. I mainly fly the P51 myself under the handle of Spicoli. I really would like a squad that will always fly in formation and use wingman tactics. Thanks.

The Devil Dogs have some great sticks, fly dedicated missions and have some of the best PonyD sticks in the game amongst their foul smelling lot. Both are great guys to fly with.

Well, that leaves my crew out. We only know one formation "tEh dOMe oF dEtH"...well
two actually, if "tEh cONGa LiNe" counts. :D

As mentioned there are a number of squads that would fit the bill, but as a suggestion, what you should do is search when you fly. What I mean is when you log in bring up the roster and sort it by squads (click the button above the squad column on the roster page) See what squads are flying while your on, ask if you can fly a mission or two with them. The reason is you fly with people that fly at the same time as you do. No point in joining a squad if they fly in the middle of your night.

i was forced to fly a P51 by mir, and my P38 was mad :frown:

I flew a pony once.......it took 2weeks to get the smell out of my flight gear ;)
