i remember seeing a thread about all this in the general forums, and i believe the consensus was reached that the forward firing guns were more common then what we have now

Lets say there was five B model aircraft with forward facing guns.
That is five more of the same model with rear facing guns.

Lyric, I recal reading that, due to the nature of night-fighter/interceptors work and this one being jet-powered, and possibley due to the adition of the radar equipment and operator, the rear-firing guns were specificly omited from B-2Ns.

You are correct.
No AR-234B of any kind none,zero had rear facing guns though of any type bomber,fighter,photo recon,prototype none of them.
