Title: CPTDell, here is the film...
Post by: Fish42 on June 21, 2012, 06:43:17 AM
of my super K4 climbing to 14000 in under 2 mins...

http://www.mediafire.com/?jxec8z95kk8mgsc

There is no hack here. This is all about reading the map and seeing problems before they are over you base. your dar was giving you away most of the way. I upped with a heavy K4 to check what it was. found you and the rest is on film.

something fishy on the last pass. i never saw rounds strike the last two birds and then his text buffer shows he shot them down. any way to slow down to see rounds impact. good positioning by fish for his shots no doubt.

Not really the point, I did it for fun. So far some have got a laugh out of it.

Nah, his lead bomber had lost its wingtip, the other drone had been hit on earlier passes. so he bailed from 1 and I guess bail from the other in

I did the same thing in a k4 to dell the other day.   A rook player informed me of some of the comments he was making on country channel.  :(

How do i always know where the bombers are 2nd account etc?

Well i had vis on his buffs from the tower that he flew over  :D and upped from a different base lining his rtb route and climbed the 18k or so until he flew through my dar to pin point his position.  Hardly suspicious.  Then he bailed his last bird.  Nothing against dell but ftdeep also talked up some nonsense yesterday i can fly through ack un harmed apparantly.

Just gets old.

Dell is a Vietnam veteran and a class act all the way.

So he got frustrated. Big deal. You are calling out a senior citizen.

While I do not necessarily agree with the OP, I do think he is simply exercising his right that Dell fought for.  :aok

What Shuffler said.

Additional question, what age do we have to be before it's ok to start calling people cheaters when we don't understand something?  Or is it the fact that he's old AND a vet that makes it ok?

Wiley.

You don't have to be old. Some of those buff pilots are paranoid mofos. Altitude must be getting to them.

Falsely accusing someone of cheating isn't being a class act, it's being a poor sport.

Some of the older folks don't understand enough about how these here newfangle magic boxes work, and assume the worst.

I don't think that makes him a poor sport, perhaps angry + underinformed.

I see a lot of allegations on country channel about the second accounts and what not, so it doesn't surprise me when people start believing it. Much easier than admitting you chose a poor route i guess.

It's nice how often the buff drivers are vectored right for their closest base on their egress, saves me a lot of money not having to pay for a 2nd account.

Though I always do the same the few times I fly 'em. Life is too short to fly buffs the whole round trip.

You are impugning the character of someone who has demonstrated greater worth to society than petulant posts on a gaming forum.

You all going to jump on the "Making the bus monitor cry" bandwagon? All the cool guys are doing it.

I need a bigger ignore list.

I didn't impugn the guy's character in any way.  What went on between the two of them is irrelevant.

I was just wondering based on your statement what conditions made it ok to start calling people cheaters?

Wiley.

So next time someone is throwing out cheating accusations repeatedly, I have first to inquire if he had aquired the "right" to do so? Hogwash. Even more so as what makes one a "hero" in your society doesn't necessarily apply for players from others. The only way for me to judge a player in AH his how he acts in AH.

He impugns his own character by acting like a baby

Being a vet doesn't give someone a free pass to bad behaviour, in real life or in video games

Does that really merit the effort load the film to a server and come in here and post it?  Laugh it off and go back to having fun.

Just because someone served in the military at some point in their life doesn't give them the right to act like an arse when someone beats them in a game.  If he had class Fish42 wouldn't have created this thread.

As one Combat Vet to another, I  :salute Dell for his service. But the others here are right, doesn't give us the right to act like an ass....just gives us a better excuse for doing it, unlike you others who can only use the "I'm having an off day" excuse  :aok

The greater the time in service, the greater the obligation to keep it classy.

On that note, since I have less than a decade in, I reserve the right to complain about the unfairness of SHAWK's mullet powers.  And incessantly demand the Me-410 yesterday if need be. And get a free puppy.  (I know those aren't full sentences, but hey, I skimped on the font size too)   For some it's probably all about the catharsis of suspending daily activities within a rigid hierarchical power structure.  I'm afraid vets are people too  :ahand

Also: I don't want to fight Way over who gets Fish's K-4, I have a Jug :rock

Gents:
As always we take cheating and accusations seriously. Accusations of cheating can be just as detrimental as cheating itself.

But this issue is not for the forums, if anyone has a problem with player cheating or accusations, it is should be handled directly with HTC.
