Take pics.   I made it in 2005.  Seems like a lifetime ago.  Probably the best airshow for warbirds there is.

Looks good

cut & Paste

Flying Legends sees the air show debut of The Fighter Collection’s P-47G Thunderbolt 42-25068 ‘Snafu’.

Making its UK debut is the Sikorsky S-38, an American twin-engine eight-seat amphibious aircraft.  The Flying Bulls’ Lockheed P-38 Lightning and Chance Vought F4U-4 Corsair make a welcome return.

The flying programme also presents three Goodyear Corsairs; a display of two Mark 1 Spitfires with a Mark 5, a rare Mark 8 and Marks 9, 14, 18 and 19; three Hawker Sea Furies; a Nieuport 17, Fokker DR1 and Sopwith Triplane in formation; the Breitling Wingwalkers; the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire, Lancaster and Hurricane (Saturday only) and the Aerostars (Sunday only). For details of the aircraft taking part download the flying participation list.

Look out for the new Vintage Village – sip a glass of fizz from the Prosecco Bar and listen to DJs playing vintage music on period gramophones....Funky !!

:bhead   been last 4 years in a row,

apart from tallboy no-one outside the few cared  :(.   Big beautiful collided and a WW1 trifokker ended up doing a slo-motion face plant.

If you have never been before then I highly recommend going for all the WW2 birds, it is after all the largest collection in Europe!

I'm going to Farnborough instead this year because they changed the frequency to once every 2 years.

Saw pics on another thread of three Spitfire I in flight together at Duxford.  Can't imagine that's happened since the war.  Amazing restorations too, right down to the last detail
