My friend Les crashed his Voyager Station-Wagon up near Stanley Idaho. :( Got hit by a mountain down-draft, totaled the AC, shattered his jaw on the yoke, bone-graft surgery & metal plate, still in ICU tonight. All three of his passengers are safe & uninjured....I was in that aircraft 2 weeks ago, total shocker to hear about it today. :salute

Prayers for your friend :pray

Flew over this poor bastard today. Couldn't activate the PCL and tried going in blind.

Ouch, how close was he to the runway? Looks like he got pretty lucky, just missing the levi and deeper areas of water.
Sorry about your friend Weasel, glad to hear him and all the passengers are safe.

Sorry to hear Weasel. I'm glad everyone is alive - I hope for a speedy recovery.
poor bastard is right, Wolf. Any alternate airports nearby that he could have tried?

Too bad about the plane, but glad everyone is alive.

Glad they all made it out alive. The bird can be replaced, people can't.

For him, about 50 feet left and another 200 yards
