Well boys, the lads at Battlefront are at it again.
Looks like Italy and the Med are next up on the
plate for the "Combat Mission" series of tactical
scale wargames.

If you're not familiar with this series and enjoy World War 2 wargaming (tactical scale) at
its finest take a look around the Battlefront webiste. Right now, "Combat Mission Battle
For Normandy" is the latest release. It is arguably the best of the lot. But, even
the original (only 15 bucks) "Combat Mission Beyond Overlord" retains its charm
and playability after ten or twelve years.

I played Close Combat for hours and hours, especially once the community produced mods that balanced out the games and tweaked the units to reflect more accurately the real deal. Combat Mission is also a fun game. I played the Kursk version for quite a while until the servers were full of nothing but people more concerned about stats and over-powering the enemy than sticking to a historical aspect of the Ost Front.
Thanks for posting the info, I will take a look at it. :aok
