Title: how to do you get new skins?

how do get a new skin. I downloaded some from the downloads page but when i go to the game there not there. can some one help.

You have to connect to an online arena to get the "skins.res" file, which contains information about all the currently available skins before the skins can be used by the game.

I can't get online now because my free trial is done. but thanks anyway.
