Title: August 13, join us for Battle of Britain, This Day in WWII

Join us to commemorate the Battle of Britain, specifically Adlertag or "Eagle Day", which took place on August 13, 1940 and which was the start of the Luftwaffe's attacks against the RAF over British soil.

Runs in Special Events II arena at two times:
-- 3 pm Eastern Time (8 pm UK time)
-- 9 pm Eastern Time

Welcome to This Day in WWII: Battle of Britain!
 All are welcome to play.
 Runs twice on August 13 in Special Events II Arena at:
-- 3 pm Eastern Time (8 pm UK time)
-- 9 pm Eastern Time
-----------------------------------------------------------

Objective: Kill enemies and bomb ground objects.
 
Event duration: 2 hours, but play as much or as little as you want of that.
 
Unlimited lives, but arena enforces at most 2 deaths in any 7-minute span. It says "Your max deaths have been exceeded" until you can fly again.
 
Allies (Bishops):
 -- Air bases 12, 14, and 16.
 -- Hurricane I, Spitfire I.
 -- Radar available in the tower only.
 
Axis (Knights):
 -- Air bases 45, 48, and 49.
 -- Bf 109E-4, Bf 110C-4b, Ju 88A-4, Ju 87D-3.
 -- No radar.
 
Fighter hangars will have a down time of 1 minute.
 
Points:
 -- 1 point per kill.
 -- In addition, axis gets 0.1 points per object destroyed.
 
Side split 50/50.

 ExitWhileMoving = 508

I have no friends and my squaddies shun me.... unless there are potatoes to peel or a new load of blenders comes in................
