Title: Flaps Problem
Post by: Mcclusky on July 11, 2012, 08:56:53 AM
Hi to All
I just loaded the sim here, but noticed in the OFF line play
My flap are not functioning. I heard and sounds but they dont
move and no effect on aircraft...
Should I re-load the program?

If your airspeed is too high the flaps will not deploy, but you should not hear the sound either.

What plane?  What airspeed?

Are you visually verifying they are not deploying?

What plane?  I assume you visually are checking for deployment?

You cannot see the flaps, from the top of the LA-7.  You have to get under the wing (looking from the front under the wing is best view) to get a good look at them.

To add for your understanding, not all flaps are the same:

Best to use your guage/indicator to verify their position in-game, or as Skuzzy suggested when lookign externaly try to look up at the bottom of the wing from and offset position below your wing.
