This skin was requested by Ranger, Lyric1 provided some additional info including the photo of the plane below.
This aircraft was from the 1st Squadron of the 282nd Fighter Regiment and saw service on the southern part of the Russian Front in February 1942. It has had a partial coat of winter whitewash brushed over its green and black camo scheme.

Thanks guys, glad you like it. It took me four days, probably about 10 hours total. I am an early riser and do most of my skinning in two free hours between getting up and going to work, more on days off. In the afternoon and evening my brain just doesn't seem to work the same and it takes me much longer to do anything. For some reason I couldn't get on with the drawing tablets I tried, so I use a mouse to do these.

Another great looking skin Greebo!
OUCH! I'm the same for working in the morning, but I do use a Wacom Intous4. I took a bit to get use to it but I find it works soooooo much better than a mouse. I'm one of those weird guys that is right handed for most things, like using a mouse, but eat and write left handed. So drawing right handed with a mouse really took a lot of time. I'm glad I got the Wacom.
