Title: CV control bug
Post by: Lusche on July 16, 2012, 06:37:38 AM
This morning, while playing on Rook side on Trinity,  I found one of our CV (C105) under control by vSixO, who was a Bishop. I wasn't the only player to note this:

How long did you have the roster open?

A few moments. I opened it after I saw that remark on country channel and checked the Task Group control screen myself. And vSixO was definitely a Bishop at this time, fighting us Rooks along with his whole squad (and landing his kills shortly after).

Saw same thing with starting at 9:20 am today. cheetah- C 105 which was Rook. He was Bish.
He took control on several occasions, putiing cv in front of Shore Battery
It's ashamed that people have to stoop so low

I do not now I they actually do, or if this is just a display bug on the TG control screen, so I'm not that quick with my judgement ;)

The next time you see this happen, try changing way points with out taking command. If you can, it means it is a display only issue.

We looked at the 3 possibilities we could think of.

1. Have command and change countries.
2. Trying to take command when you are in a different country.
3. Having command, and having the CV change countries.

All 3 removed the person commanding.

So my best guess is, it is a display only issue, but there may be something we are missing, and need a little more info the next time it happens.
