Can anyone tell me how to open vox window now since the new update.Thanks

tab out of AH, delete C:\Hitech Creations\Aces High\settings\rooms.cfg tab back into AH and it should be there. you may also need to close and reopen the radio, I didnt have to but some squaddies did.

There was a mini-patch, released last night which should have fixed this.

Fuze,

I did the last download last night then clicked the radio and then white box appears with no radio.You think i need to reload game?Thanks

click your windows start button in the bottom left corner of your desktop and click on computer,   will most likely be labelled as C: drive double click on it and then look for the hitech creations folder.

then see rtholmes post above.

You are running version 2.80 Patch 2?

If so, then you need to remove the file "room.cfg" and "roomrect.cfg" from the games "settings" folder, if they exist.

IMO, people do an entire reload way too many times and for the wrong reasons. That's just my opinion though, doubt you could by a gumball from a gumball machine with what my opinion is worth.

Just FYI.  The last full installation of the game I did was about 10 years ago.

However, people that use anti-xxx software, some type of security software, something to control what programs run in the background, or just about any software that alters the original operating system installation (save Microsoft updates) has the chance to bork any game installation that makes use of online patches to update the software.

More often than not, software crashes are the problem.  Due to all the things the game "remembers" there will always be a chance for borking up "settings" files in the advent of a game crash.  That is the only folder that has any real chance of getting messed up.
