Title: online arenas crashing and accessing support

I'm having a problem since the latest patch with whiteout after 15 secs of connecting to any online arena, with the message "aceshigh.exe has stopped working".  Offline no problem. Tried to contact support@hitechcreations but unable to and get message "could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed". Only other thing I've done is access my BB account for the first time in 4 years while waiting for latest patch to download! Windows 7.
I'd appreciate any advice.

Downloaded "hires" texture pack as suggested has cured problem.
