It looks black-and-white, rather than winter (at least on my system)...

I think it looks excellent.

However, I see one major flaw. (And I know this is no fault of yours.)

Most of the deciduous trees that are modeled would have most likely lost there leaves by the time winter set in. I know they do at my latitude.

I really didn't mean it like that at all. Like I said, I think it looks excellent. My comment was more of a roundabout wish that HTC would model some leafless trees for terrain makers to use.

Even in summertime there are dead and leafless trees to be found. How hard could it be to model 6-12 naked tree patterns? Really, I don't know.

Yes, lots of trains.  I used all trains to supply fields and factories instead of truck convoys. :)

As for the trees, I did have custom clutter tiles made to give it a more winter feel, but ran into an issue where an occasional tree would pop up in the middle of a train track.  To fix it means totally redoing the clutter tiles.  I just ran outta time before the terrain was needed, so I used default clutter for now.  The new clutter will be in place by the next time we use the terrain in the AvA. :salute

Any way this map can be modified and put in to the MA???  Make a 3 piece pie out of it with a bunch of green (Rook), pink (bitshes), and purple (nits) bases scattered over the map instead of the historically accurate map and BAM we have a winter map in the MA!  or is it not that easy?   :)

Nope MA maps are strictly controlled and no custom stuff is allowed.
