:pray :pray :prayplz plz can we have the 57mm recoilless rifle on the jeep :devil
-
miss the days when u could drive up to a tank and ping him to deth from the inside....... now they wants a bigger gun
-
not like that it wouldn't be very effective out at long range but maybe around 1500yds would be max range with effectiveness
-
We have a 75mm for the M3 use that
-
m3 is too slow tracer lol why use that when the 57mm can traverse 360 degrees and can be mounted on the jeeps 50cal mount and it could use sabot rounds to kill heavier tanks and HE rounds for m3s or other litely armored vehicles

How about you supply your data.
You aren't exactly known for accuracy right now, re: Ta183.

I already did. He's right. The history of the 57mm isn't exactly classified.

AKAK did not dispute the M18 57mm recoilles rifle was being used in WWII ;)

Ah, I see what you did there... I stand corrected.

Why don't you do some research or at least someone that knows how to do it for you?
Please show me one bit of data or picture of a jeep mounted with either a 57mm or 75mm recoilless rifle used during WW2. Because I know these things are challenging for you, I'll give you a hint...recoilless rifles mounted on jeeps weren't used in World War 2.

Ouch, if you are going to give someone grief...I'd advise not starting with Akak, Lusche or Guppy. Like going from T-Ball to MLB
overnight :D

This is the image you're trying to post.

It's a Korean era M38A1 with a 106mm recoilless rifle. If you look closely on the recoilless rifle, you can see the .50 cal spotter rifle attached ontop.
Here's another M38A1 picture with a 106mm taken during Korean War.
