We will be conducting an 8th Air Force Mission vs Luftwaffe Mission in the Allied vs Axis Arena this Thursday night at 9PM EST/8PM CST. All are welcome to attend and participate either as 8th or LW. This is a multi-life event. Bring your pocket full of quarters because we'll make you go broke before your done.

There will be other active bases for players before and after the event. For Mission purposes, please utilize the 8th and LW Airfields for mission sorties.

All Allied aircraft are enabled at both bases. Bf-109s are enabled at A38. FW-190s and Ta-152s are enabled at A41. Bf-110s and Me-410s are enabled at A78.
It is requested that Axis players refrain from going feet dry over England until 30 minutes after launch. Axis players are free to pursue Allied aircraft across the English Channel and to English bases.
For those accustomed to Main Arena settings, there will be some slight differences. For those accustomed to AvA settings, there will a couple of differences. For those accustomed to Special Events settings, there will be some differences.
Fuel Burn - 1.0
No dot radar for friendly or enemy
Darbar will be a 2 minutes delay
Killshooter will be ON
Friendly and Enemy Icon will be 3K
Auto-calibration for bombers
For those flying 8th AF, we will have 2 loaded Missions for 8th AF Bombers and Fighters. Just join the either Mission by selecting which aircraft you want.
For those flying Luftwaffe, there is no official LW Commander. That is an open position to be filled. The LW Commander needs to have a plan of action and to get LW players organized to stop 8th AF.

I can't speak for AKKuya on what he wants to do on Friday, but we won't be running Friday missions in AvA unless someone wants to put them together on our setups which change weekly.
The Thursday change to bob map is a special allowance so we can provide a more historical setting and have a cool high alt bombing and intercept mission in the arena.

Fridays are reserved for Friday Squad Ops in Special Events Arena 1. Most of the players will be found there with their registered squads.

Tonight was Fun but Pacman ya called Jg-11 out for fights on the forum in this quote "JG-11, we are coming for yo" then flew Axis for tonight's mission only a few showed up from that squad and ya flew well with us but if your squad is registered for allies for the Event why jump sides and fly with the Luftwafe. We are using these Thursday night Runs to get our Gruppe's more well organized than having allied players who signed up as allies for Scenario just to fly with the Luftwaffe and take trade secret's back to the allies. I respect alot of Players here in the game but when it comes to side jumpers and all I Disrespect that when other's are trying to jell and get into a co-ordinated flight groupe's and attack's for DGS alot of us do not take this kind of treason lightly.
Just my Opinion and no one else from my Squad Just trying to get into the Groove of this Up Coming Event

Hmmm, Keep in mind guys that we are only opening up the arena for this. We aren't the SEA and won't have a team policing and organizing.

I am NOT. Flying in the Scenario.
Sum and I flew Axis tonight because originally JOACHIM who IS ALSO, Not flying in the scenario, is a 109 pilot. He suffered connection issues. However I volunteered to lead the Axis component along with your CO Stampf already and was locked in. HENCE. I flew Axis.
I flew both tonight for the simple reason of side imbalance.
AT NO POINT. Did I purposely give away operational information to EITHER side. AT NO POINT. Did I switch sides WITHOUT NOTIFYING the respective authorities. AT NO POINT - Did I have any other intention than to cultivate stimulating combat for the purposes of having fun.
I fly for whoever needs an extra stick amongst them. And as Stampf rightly said, its about time the Luftwaffe won an 8th AF mission.

axis didn't just win, they annihilated them. heck even i got a couple of kills and some assists! thanks for letting me fly with you and JG11, stampf!
