Seen em' quite often living five minutes from the Gary airport when they would do Chicago. We drive by the Museum Of Flight here almost on a daily basis and they park there when in town ... never pass up the opportunity to say hello to number 7 ... I have a thing "for him". :t
Loving Seattle ... two years this week. I loved Chicago but, never going back. Just need to get good food here like back "home".
-
Ya do know they change pilots every 4 years right;)?

if she's a she, but really a he, then how can she be a she? is she a he crossdressing and pretending to be a she?

Not if you are a "she" then they are "he's".
Would that be Fat Albert? :airplane:
Be nice ... you mean pleasantly plump Albert. :D
They left The Museum Of Flight at 9:45 this morning. Until next SeaFair ...
Would be cool if they switched every other year with the Thunderbirds but, they don't. :frown:

at mcguire afb, they alternate every other show. same at atlantic city. that one's a freebie. i few years ago, i believe that they BOTH performed there. it sucks for working schmucks like me, 'cause the atlantic city show is always on Wednesdays.

Yeah they alternated in Chicago every year. Here they don't. It's ok I've seen them both enough for a lifetime.

i still enjoy them.....but to be honest, i enjoy the thunderbirds a bit more. that's not in any way putting down the angels.....i just like the style of the thunderbirds show a little better. :aok

Blue Angels > Thunder Chickens :devil
OK, but seriously, you'll note the TBs explicitly don't perform at the same venues as their (brethren in the skies) F-22 or F-15 demo teams anymore, and it's for a very bad (selfish and egotistical imho) reason. Go team! Doesn't help that I'm a little partial, but then again what do I have to complain about now since their perormances are almost always preceded by an F-18 Super Hornet demo team across the nation and at an AF or AR base near you. :aok
