Title: Can you replace sounds?

I want to know if you can replace the sounds you have with diferent ones so it sounds difernet.

LOL Ranger was joking. Take a look, there are several player made soundpacks to replace the original game sounds. Different engine noises, gun noises etc.

Not sure which ones are current and updated.

If you want to replace individual one's with some of your own, you will have to read up a bit and check out the sound files in your Aces high folders to find the ones you want to replace.

If i only know how to replace. I got a sound pack with version 2.27 patch 6 and the sounds didn't change.

down load the sound pack you want, save it somewhere like desktop...place it in your AH install folder, if it asks you to save over anything say yes......

spitter the game will use whatever sounds are listed in the sounds directory, 

Once you have downloaded a custom sound pack rename your existing one something different lets say soundsdefault,   

move the new one into the directory and make sure it is called sounds

you can double check the sounds are there by going into the folder and you should have seperate folders for all of the different plane types.

there are plenty to choose from,  you can also mix and match some individual sounds like check 6's, explosions.

Keep the FAITH Ranger .. I think HiTech will soon provide different Sounds :pray
